Library licensed resources such as ejournals, ebooks, and database content, cannot be used for commercial purposes, including for co-op work. Beyond this, our licenses also generally prohibit us from sharing these resources with people who are not students, faculty, or staff members at the University of Waterloo.

If you require access to resources that your employer cannot provide, you might try searching for Open Access content. You can have a look at our Open Access guide to learn more. Browser extensions such as Unpaywall or Open Access Button can help you find legal open access versions of subscription content.
