When citing online lecture notes, be sure to provide the file format in square brackets after the lecture title, as in the example here below:

Lastname, F. M. (Year, Month date). Title of presentation [file format, e.g., Lecture notes, PowerPoint slides, Online module, etc.]. Publisher. URL

Smith, C. (2017, October 13). AI and machine learning demystified [PowerPoint]. SlideShare. https://www.slideshare.net/carologic/ai-and-machine-learning-demystified-by-carol-smith-at-midwest-ux-2017
