The document Tri-Council Policy Statement for the Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans states that the Tri-Council requests the following format for the reference list entry:

Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, and Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans, December 2018. http://www.pre.ethics.gc.ca/eng/documents/tcps2-2018-en-interactive-final.pdf, Retrieved on [ADD DATE].

Regarding the in-text citation, the first time the resource is introduced, provide three authors in the citation: (Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, & Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, 2018, p. X). In subsequent citations, you can use et al.: (Canadian Institutes of Health Research et al., 2018, p. X).

*Please note that it is always best to confirm with your Professor or TA as to expectations when it comes to citing.
