What systems can be updated during the technical freeze that begins on November 1?

Systems that cannot be updated during this time period:

  • Voyager acquisitions
  • Voyager cataloguing
  • SFX
  • Textura

Systems available for use:

  • Voyager circulation – limited to transactional-related processes (e.g. charging out items, placing requests, adding/editing patron records)
  • Primo – full functionality but no new records

What we won’t be doing during the technical services freeze:

  • No ordering or receiving of regular orders
  • No cataloguing or holdings maintenance
  • No collections budget updates
  • No transfers to the Annex

What we can continue to do during the technical services freeze:

  • Rush order processing for rushes related to course reserves
  • Selecting items for purchase in GOBI (to be processed after Dec. 10th)
  • Fixing broken links for e-resources that are reported by users
  • All of our circulation functions
