You can access many engineering standards using your Waterloo library account.

  1. Visit the Standards & Codes subject guide.
  2. Log in using your WatIAM credentials
  3. Access standards from Waterloo's Online Standards Subscriptions

If the materials you need are not available, you can fill out a contact form to place a request. Requests will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Note: You may need to install a FileOpen plug-in to be able to download BSI and ISO standards.
Many engineering standards can also be found in Omni - the Library catalogue. Standards are not usually available through Interlibrary Loans (ILL) but can be obtained in some instances.
