Library Accessibility Services provides services and resources in a way that respects the dignity and independence of all members of our community at all times. We also commit to giving people with disabilities the same opportunity to access our services and resources and allowing them to benefit from the same services, in the same place, and in a similar way as other users.

The Library's Adaptive Technology Centre is available to all students with accessibility needs.

The Adaptive Technology Centre is located on the main floor of the Dana Porter Library, at the back. Follow the contrasting path to the right of the Information desk all the way to the door.

The Adaptive Technology Centre:

  • Offers quiet study space, study rooms, and computer workstations equipped with adaptive software.
  • Has "The Rest Stop" (most comfortable chair on campus).
  • Is open during all library hours.
  • Is a scent-free zone. Join us in an awareness of the impact of scented products on the health of others. Please, no perfume, after-shaves or other scented products.
