Library Accessibility Services (LAS) provides services and resources to people with disabilities in a way that respects the dignity and independence of all members of the campus community. Library Accessibility Services is committed to giving people with disabilities the same opportunity to access library services and resources and allow them to benefit from the same services, in the same place, and in a similar way as other users.

The Library's Adaptive Technology Centre (ATC) is available to all students with accessibility needs.

The Adaptive Technology Centre (ATC) is located on the main floor of the Dana Porter Library, at the back. Follow the contrasting path to the right of the Information desk all the way to the ATC door.

The Adaptive Technology Centre:

  • Offers quiet study space, study rooms, and computer workstations equipped with adaptive software.
  • Has "The Rest Stop" (most comfortable chair on campus).
  • Is open during all library hours.
  • Is a scent-free zone. Join us in an awareness of the impact of scented products on the health of others. Please, no perfume, after-shaves or other scented products
