This issue is related to IE using compatibility mode. To fix this issue, please use the following steps:

  • launch IE
  • press "Alt" to access the menu
  • select "Tools", then  "Compatibility View Settings".
  • uncheck the "Display intranet sites in compatibility view" and press Close.
